DYNAMIC ABSTRACTS

These works are spontaneous, often bold, with strong gestural qualities and various forms of mark making using squeegees, palette knives, spray paint, fingerpainting, etc. They activate spaces.

I approach the canvas with curiosity as a call and response dynamic ensues. One color might invite another color for either harmony or discord. Images ask to be prominent or hidden or completely erased.
