This collection represents an earlier chapter: raw, intuitive, and layered with symbols, words, and a kind of visual freedom that comes from not yet knowing the rules...or simply making them up as you go!

Mostly c​reated between 2010 and 2015, these pieces were foundational for me, the underground roots of everything I make today. At the time, I was deep in a Kundalini Yoga practice that was literally moving energy through me. I was expanding. Letting Go. Reorganizing. Consolidating. The paintings reflect that.
