I was inspired to create the Haiku series using mixed media and only allowing myself 7 elements per piece. In a haiku, a 3 line poem, the syllables are restricted to 5 - 7 - 5 syllables per line. Creating this self imposed "limitation" gave way to carefully considered compositions that resulted in balanced whimsy. One of 4 available works.
